DISTRIBUSI SPASIAL DAN TEMPORAL JUVENIL UDANG DALAM KAITANNYA DENGAN LINGKUNGAN PERAIRAN DI TELUK JAKARTA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji distribusi spasial dan temporal juvenil udang dalam kaitannya dengan kondisi lingkungan perairan di Teluk Jakarta. Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah timur Teluk Jakarta dengan metode survei, pada bulan April, Juni, Agustus dan Oktober 2010 di 7 lokasi, yaitu: Muara Gembong, Tanjung Gembong, Muara Karawang, Tanjung Karawang, Muara Grobak, Muara Beuting dan Muara Bungin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara temporal kelimpahan juvenil udang mencapai puncak pada bulan Agustus 2010, di Muara Beuting. Secara spasial kelimpahan juvenil udang semakin meningkat ke lokasi luar teluk, yaitu Muara Gerobak, Muara Beuting, Muara Bungin. Juvenil yang ditemukan sebanyak 12 genus dan tertinggi dari genus Acetes  dengan komposisi 59-99%. Kondisi lingkungan yang meliputi kedalaman air, kecerahan, salinitas, suhu air, pH dan oksigen terlarut mendukung pertumbuhan juvenil udang. This study aims to assess the spatial and temporal distribution of juvenile shrimp in relation to environment condition at the Bay of Jakarta. A survey method was conducted in the eastern Bay of Jakarta at 7 locations i.e., Muara Gembong, Tanjung Gembong, Muara Karawang, Tanjung Karawang, Muara Grobak, Muara Beuting and Muara Bungin in April, June, August and October 2010. The results showed that abundance of the juvenile reached it’s peak in August 2010, at Muara Beuting. The abundance of shrimp juvenile increased towards out the bay, located at Muara Gerobak, Muara Beuting, and Muara Bungin. The juvenile found were 12 genus which was dominated by genus of Acetes with composition of 59-99%. Environmental conditions including water depth, transparency, salinity, water temperature, pH and dissolved oxygen are feasible for the growth of shrimp juvenile
