<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Dismenore is pain sense during menstruation, so that can cause inconvenience of daily living. This research aims to study the influence of giving extract red ginger (Zingiber Officinale Roscoe) and brown sugar towards dismenore pain alteration on female Students in the eight level of SMPN 1 in Bengkulu Tengah. This research is Pre- Experimental Research use one group pre-test and post -test research design. Population in this research is all of female students in eight level of SMPN1 in Bengkulu Tengah who being dismenore. Sampling technique used total sampling obtained as many as 34 samples. Data gathering in this research used primer data which was obtained directly from the respondents. Data analysis used Normality Test Analysis and Kolmogorov Smirnov Test, Univariate and Bivariate. The results of this research obtained; (1) Dismenore pain intensity in the first day before giving extract red ginger on Female Students in eight level of SMPN1 in Bengkulu Tengah ranged among 8-5, whereas, after giving extract red ginger decreased among 3-2. (2) dsimenore pain intensity in the second day before giving extract red ginger on Female Students in eight level of SMPN1 in Bengkulu Tengah ranged among 5-3 whereas, after giving extract red ginger decreased among 3-1. (3) There is influence giving extract red ginger towards dismenore pain alteration on female students in the eight level of SMPN 1 in Bengkulu Tengah that showed with the results Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test which was the value of Asymp.sig (2-tailed) = 0.000< 0.05 for both group, meaning significant. So, both variables have different value or in the other word occurred pain reduction on female students after drinking extract red ginger and brown sugar in the first day and second day.
