Abstract

This research aims to analysis teacher?s social competence and student learning motivation over student learning achievement. The research method used is survey method. The data collecting technique is using rating scale model questionnaire adapted from the score of respondents? answers. The respondents are Tenth Grade students of Office Administration Department in one vocational high school in Bandung. The data analysis technique is using simple regression and multiple regression. The result of research shows that the teacher?s social competence level and student learning motivation level has positive and significant impact towards the student learning achievement level. Therefore, student learning achievement can be improved by repair and improvement in teacher?s social competence and student learning motivation. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi sosial guru dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model rating scale dengan skor yang diadaptasi dari skor jawaban responden. Responden adalah siswa Kelas XI Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran di salah satu sekolah menengah kejuruan di Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetenis sosial guru dan motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian prestasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan diadakannya perbaikan dan peningkatan dalam kompetensi sosial guru dan motuvasi belajar siswa.
