<![CDATA[The library is one way to advance national culture by preserving wealth and cultural treasures. Library development is an effort to increase resources, services, and management of libraries both in terms of quantity and quality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of library materials in the college library. The research method used is a comparative study in several literatures. The results of the research are not all college libraries carry out collection development activities as a whole. Components of the collection development process include selection, selection, procurement, weeding and evaluation policies. Development of collections in the college library can be done with, the first step is to analyze the needs of users.]]>
