Dalam pelaksanaan produksi, pencatatan data transaksi produksi masih manual, data yang banyak dan terus bertambah membuat proses pencarian data cenderung lama, dokumen ditemukan rusak bahkan hilang sehingga laporan menjadi tidak lengkap dan monitoring progress produksi dari permintaan kerja sampai barang jadi tidak mudah dan cepat karena pencatatan transaksi masih menggunakan form manual. Pada penelitian ini penulis merancang sistem informasi produksi berbasis desktop, dengan menerapkan metode waterfall untuk mempermudah pengolahan data dan penyajian laporan. Aplikasi informasi produksi berbasis desktop ini dirancang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman .Net dan SQL Server sebagai databasenya. Dengan penerapan sistem informasi produksi berbasis desktop, diharapakan akan mempermudah staf produksi dan bagian terkait dalam menyelesaikan pekerjannya. Mempercepat dalam proses pencarian data dan penyajian laporan lebih lengkap, Pengelolaan dan pengolahan data produksi dilakukan secara komputerisasi sehingga monitoring proses produksi lebih mudah dan cepat. Where producing project material is one of the activities in the company. In carrying out production, recording production transaction data is still manual, large and growing data makes the data search process tend to be long, documents found to be damaged and even lost so that reports become incomplete and monitoring production progress from work requests until goods are not easy and fast due to recording transactions still use manual form. In this study the author designed a desktop-based production information system, by applying the waterfall method to facilitate data processing and report presentation. This desktop-based production information application is designed using the .Net programming language and SQL Server as its database. With the implementation of a desktop-based production information system, it is expected that it will facilitate production staff and related parts in completing their work. Speeding up in the process of finding data and presenting a more complete report, Management and processing of production data is done computerically so that monitoring the production process is easier and faster.
