<![CDATA[Researchwas conducted to examine the mediating role of intrinsic motivation on relation of jobcomplexity as apart of contextuall characteristics and individual creative behavior. This study is a research surveywith the question naires a sinstruments. The samples as used in this research are lecturer i n P u r wo k e r t o c i t y . The number of sample sused was 98 respondent. Methods of analysis used Hierarchical regression analysis,base on the mediating requirements. The result of the analysis shows that in trinsic motivation only partiallymediated the relation between job complexity and individual creative behavior. This research also extendinformation about the mediating role of intrinsic motivation that have been give response to inconsistency ofresult on mediating role of intrinsic motivation, that is concerned on relation between contextual characteristicsand creativity.Keywords:Job complexity, intrinsicmotivation, individual creative behavior]]>
