This reasearch has goal for understanding Jalaluddin Rakhmat‟s political communication in general election 2014. Research methodology is case Study.This Research collecting data is deepth interview, document study, and field observation. This research use interactionalism symbolic theory and dramaturgis theory. The results showed Jalaluddin Rakhmat using various techniques of political propaganda in political communication that is as follows: (1). Nickname (name calling) is giving a bad name to the other party; (2). Iming-glinging (glittering generalities) is to use grandiose words, slogans, and twisting facts; (3) .transfer, ie to identify with authority institutions; (4) .Testimonials are the repetition of the speech of a respected or hated person to promote or belittle an intent; (5). Populist (Plain foks) that is placing themselves as part of the people; (6). Stacking cards (Card Stacking) is to carefully select an accurate and logical statement; and (7). Music carts (bandwagon), which encourages the Audience to jointly move people to achieve a definite goal or victory.
