all along the history of the roll of thought in islam, it seems that the mission matter stands on the effort to understand Islam in doctrinal frame using socio-historical approach and to view Islam as syari'at on one side and as civilization on the other. Therefore, in the effort to understand and treat Islam in the present context, the examinations of the classical Islamic thought are not only meant to widen and enrich the insight and treasury of the Islamic knowledge but also to make Moslems' views energetic and lively in facing the challenges of this time
