<![CDATA[This study discusses the violation of journalistic ethics on news of sexual violence against women in the “Lampu Hijau” during November 2012 - April 2013. The concept used is the mass media, journalistic ethics, news of sexual violence. This research uses quantitative approach with a content analysis method. However, supporting interviews of related stakeholders are used to support the analysis. “Lampu Hijau” is a newspaper known for its crime reports, especially sex crimes. Ethics are required in presenting this kind of news since a moral guideline for journalists in news production. The indicators of this study are balanced and non-judgmental news, news content, identity of victims of sexual violence, the right to protect resources and the non-prejudice and discrimination news. The results showed that the news of sexual violence against women in “Lampu Hijau” is still violating the Journalistic Ethics.]]>
