Abstract

To help arm-disabled persons for washing, an assistive face-washing device was developed. The crank-link and flat putter-cam mechanisms were used to create hands movement for face washing by synthesis the flip and rotation movements during the washing process. The structure and water circuit of the device were designed in detail. Later, the three-dimensional model was constructed and the assembly and simulation as follow proved the feasibility of the design. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4665
