<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Tesis ini membahas tentang Peran Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (Bpd) Dalam Penyelengaraan Pemerintah Desa (Studi Di Kabupaten Kubu Raya). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan tesis ini ialah menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dan sosiologis. Dari hasil penelitian tesis ini diperoleh kesimpulan Bahwa Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) selama ini telah memahami dan menjalankan peranya selaku wakil penduduk desa dalam penyelengaraan pemerintah desa, Peran Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) sangat strategis dalam kaitannya dalam perencanaan pembangunan, karena BPD erat kaitannya dengan pelaksanaan fungsi pemerintahan didalam Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa fungsi BPD diluar pemerintah akan tetapi BPD merupakan sebagai lembaga yang melaksanakan fungsi pemerintahan, posisi BPD dengan diberlakukannya Undang-undang ini justru semakin menguat. Kehadiran BPD dalam Pemerintahan Desa dengan berbagai fungsi dan kewenangannya diharapkan mampu mewujudkan sistem check and balance dalam pemerintahan desa. Sebagai perwujudan demokrasi, dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa, Kepala Desa dan BPD bekerja sama dalam mengurus dan mengatur kepentingan masyarakat setempat berdasarkan asal-usul dan adat istiadat setempat yang diakui dan di hormati. Kata Kunci Badan Permusyawaratan Desa  ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the Role of the Village Consultative Body (Bpd) in Organizing the Village Government (Study in Kubu Raya District). The research method used in writing this thesis is to use normative and sociological legal research methods. From the results of this thesis research, it was concluded that the Village Consultative Body (BPD) had understood and carried out its role as a representative of the village population in the administration of village government, the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) was very strategic in relation to development planning, because the BPD was closely related to the implementation of government functions in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages BPD functions outside the government, but the BPD is an institution that carries out the functions of government, the position of the BPD with the enactment of this Law actually strengthens. The presence of the BPD in the Village Government with its various functions and authorities is expected to be able to realize a system of checks and balances in the village administration.
