<![CDATA[This study explores self-concepts and future career concepts among high school students as an indicator for preparedness for career pursue before graduation. For that purpose, this research investigates relationship between self-concepts and future career concepts. This study is descriptive and statistic correlational statistical research. This study selected population consisting of Second Grade Students of State Senior High School Number 11 in Makassar accounting for 353 students. 20% of the population (71 students) was selected as sample through proportional random sampling. From these sample, data were collected using questionnaires and documentations. The data were then analyzed with descriptive and correlational statistics of product moment. This study reveals that there is a significant correlation between self-concepts and future career concepts. This indicates that the more significant self-concepts are, the more mature the concepts of future career are.AbstrakStudi ini menelaah hubungan personalitas dengan kematangan karir siswa sebagai bentuk persiapan personalitas sebelum tamat SMA. Untuk itu, penelitian ini akan menyelidiki hubungan antara, konsep personalitas dan kematangan karir siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas II SMA Negeri 11 Makassar sebanyak 353 orang, kemudian ditarik sampel sebanyak 20 persen atau 71 siswa sebagai responder secara proporsional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara, konsep personalitas dan kematangan karir di SMA Negeri 11 Makassar, artinya semakin baik konsep personalitas siswa akan semakin baik pula kematangan karir demikian pula sebaliknya.]]>
