<![CDATA[In its journey, capitalism has adversely affected the economy and increasingly gaping social inequalities, creating gaps between the rich and the poor. It all is the impact of the cruelty of capitalism that occurred in several developing countries including Indonesia. The Indonesian state is a democratic country, and according to Karl Marx a democratic country is a capitalist country, because the state is controlled by the capitalist economic logic which dictates that most political decisions must benefit the interests of the capitalist. In this case the beneficiaries are the owners of capital (capitalists), while the small community remains in the frame of poverty]]>
