<![CDATA[Abstract: Petai Cina plant (Leucaena leucocephala) is one of the plants known as traditional medicine with various chemical contents and medicinal properties. Alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, tannins, proteins, fats, calcium, phosphorus, iron and vitamins (A, B, C). Other efficacy as, antidiabetic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria is one of the bacteria that causes acne which usually infects the skin.The aim of this study was to formulate the extract of Chinese petai (Leucaena leucocephala) leaf extract into a peel-off gel mask as an anti-acne agent. The peel-off gel mask is subjected to a physical evaluation test and a test of its activity against the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria by the diffusion method of pitting.This research is experimental. The maceration method uses ethanol 96%. Maceration is a method of extraction by immersing simplicia powder in a suitable liquid with several shaking and stirring at room temperature. The concentration of the extract used in the peel-off gel mask formulation was 5%, 10%, 15%. Peel-off gel with clindamycin 1% positive control and base gel blank. The data obtained was analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test. The results of the study prepared the physical requirements of the peel-off gel mask preparation. It has effectiveness on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria extract concentration of 5% 4.17 mm, 10% 6.17 mm, 15% 7.5 mm, clindamycin 1% 23.17 mm, and the base gel without Chinese petai leaf extract does not provide inhibitory zones. Petai cina leaf extract has inhibitory effect on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Abstrak: Tanaman petai cina (Leucaena leucocephala) adalah salah satu tanaman yang dikenal sebagai obat tradisional dengan berbagai kandungan kimia dan khasiat obat. Alkaloid, saponin, flavonoida, tannin, protein, lemak, kalsium, fosfor, besi serta vitamin (A, B, C).Khasiat lainnyasebagai, antidiabetes, antibakteri, antiinflamasi, antibakteri.Bakteri Staphylococcus aureus adalah salah satu bakteri penyebab jerawat yang biasanya menginfeksi pada kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan formulasi terhadap ekstrak daun petai cina (Leucaena leucocephala) kedalam sediaan masker gel peel-off sebagai antijerawat. Masker gel peel-off dilakukan uji evaluasi fisik dan uji aktivitasnya terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureusdengan metode difusi sumuran. Penelitian ini merupakan ekperimental. Metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 96%. Maserasi adalah metode penyarian dengan merendam serbuk simplisia dalam cairan penyari yang cocok dengan beberapa kali pengocokan dan pengadukan pada temperatur ruangan. Konsentrasi ekstrak yang digunakan dalam formulasi masker gel peel-off adalah 5%, 10%, 15%. Gel peel-off dengan klindamisin 1% kontrol positif dan basis gel blangko. Data yang telah didapatkan dilakukan analisa dengan uji One Way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian sediaan memenuhi persyaratan fisik sediaan masker gel peel-off. Memiliki efektivitas terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus konsentrasi ekstrak 5% 4,17 mm, 10% 6,17 mm, 15% 7,5 mm, klindamisin 1% 23,17 mm, dan basis gel tanpa ekstrak daun petai cina tidak memberikan zona hambat. Ekstrak daun petai cina memiliki daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak yang diberikan maka berpengaruh terhadap uji fisik sediaan dan uji daya hambatnya.
