ABSTRACTConsumption of refined petroleum products always increases every year along with increasing population and world population activities. Therefore the search for alternative energy is very intensively carried out in order to save on the use of fuel oil, especially in transportation equipment and conventional machinery. In addition to the problem of energy needs, the machinery problem that is still not resolved is the amount of waste that continues to increase, namely the problem of handling engine oil waste. Handling of engine oil waste is often carried out in a random way (by way of storage or by throwing it carelessly), and this is very dangerous, because these used oils include hazardous and toxic waste (B3). Changing engine oil waste into fuel is one solution to deal with the above problems, one of which is by mixing engine oil waste with bilimbi juice. In this study, the type of used oil used was SAE 15W-40 engine oil waste with a variable percentage of the mixture of bilimbi juice at 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%, and the dependent variable examined here was physical properties, which included values viscosity, heat and flash point, while the mixing results from the test are diesel fuel. From this study it was found that, mixing the engine oil with the bilimbi juice made the fuel make the viscosity and flash point values decrease, while for the calorific value it rose.Keywords : Engine Oil Waste, Bilimbi Juice, Physical Properties
