Perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku dengan metode material requirement planning (MRP) pada proses produksi jas almamater di home industry Kun Tailor Tulungagung

Abstract

Perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku berdampak pada kelancaran proses produksi dan tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku untuk proses produksi jas almamater pada home industry Kun Tailor Tulungagung. Hasil observasi menunjukkan temuan masalah manajemen rantai pasok kurang baik dan jadwal produksi tidak sistematis sehingga terjadi kekurangan bahan baku proses produksi. Metode penelitian menggunakan material requirement planning dengan analisis lot sizing: Wagner-Whitin, lot for lot, economic order quantity, period order quantity dan part period balancing. Teknik peramalan permintaan penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kebutuhan bahan baku perbulan untuk bahan baku kain sebanyak 171,46 meter, bahan baku puring sebanyak 118,25 meter, bahan baku benang sebanyak 4.493,5 meter dan bahan baku kancing sebanyak 946 pcs. Jumlah produksi jas almamater rata-rata perbulan 118 pcs. Teknik lot sizing yang paling efisien adalah Wagner-Whitin dengan penghematan total sebesar 51%. Planning raw material impacted to smooth production process and achievement of company goals. This research focused on planning raw material requirements for almamater jacket production process at Kun Tailor Tulungagung home industry. The observation showed the supply chain management problems are not in at the good level, production schedule nonsystematic, caused a shortage of raw materials production process. The research method used material requirement planning with lot sizing analysis: Wagner-Whitin, lot for lot, economic order quantity, period order quantity, and part period balancing. The demand forecasting technique this research used linear regression analysis. The results showed average monthly raw material needs were 171,46 meters of raw material, croton raw materials were 118,25 meters, yarn raw materials were 4,493.5 meters, and button materials were 946 pcs. The average amount of production per month almamater jacket was 118 pcs. The most efficient lot sizing technique was Wagner-Whitin, with a total savings of 51%.
