<![CDATA[ABSTRAK: Penyebutan pada kata mati dan hidup berdasarkan konsep Islam adalah sebuah rantai kehidupan yang saling menghubungkan. Artinya, bahwa kematian adalah satu dimensi kehidupan berikutnya dan akan berlangsung setelah proses kehidupan yang pertama. Peristiwa kematian dan kehidupan, oleh al-Qur’an dinilai sebagai bentuk penciptaan yang patut diperhatikan secara seksama; dan bahkan perhatian kepada kedua kata ini (mati dan hidup) memerlukan analisis secara aktual, dengan mengacu kepada sifat Tuhan melalui representasi asma’ al-husna, bahwa tingkat kebaikan Tuhan memang tak terbatas. Dengan kata lain, kematian dan kehidupan adalah suatu penciptaan Tuhan yang patut disyukuri dan diterima seikhlas mungkin sebagai landasan ketaqwaan seorang hamba dalam konteks keimanan. Kata Kunci: Mati, Hidup dan Konsep Eskatologis ABSTRACT: The mention of the word death and life based on the concept of Islam is a living chain interconnect. It means that death is the next dimension of life and will take place after process of first life. The event of death and life, the Qur'an is considered as a kind of creation that should be considered carefully; and even attention to these two words (dead and alive) requires actually analysis, with reference to the nature of God through the representation of asthma 'al-Husna, that the level of God's goodness is infinite.
