Background: Hypertension is one of the main health problems in every country that is considered serious because we often don't realize its arrival. Hypertension if not treated immediately will cause complications, such as stroke, myocardial infarction, kidney failure, brain damage, seizures, and death. The nonpharmacological measures that can be used to treat hypertension are by soaking the feet of warm water, which is one of the natural therapies that aims to improve blood circulation, reduce edema, increase muscle relaxation, nourish the heart, relax muscles, relieve stress, increase permeability capillaries, so it is very useful for therapy in reducing blood pressure in people with hypertensionPurpose: Gaining real experience and effectiveness of soaking foot warm water to reduce blood pressure in people with hypertension to overcome the problem of high blood pressure.Method: Descriptive case study which is one type of strategy in qualitative research, with a case study research approach (case study). The population in this study is the residents of Krisak Wetan Hamlet, Selogiri District, Wonogiri Regency who suffer from hypertension. Sample of 3 respondents. The instrument uses standard operational procedures (SOP) and observation sheets.Results: Observations that have been made from all respondents showed that after soaking feet of warm water for 3 days there was a decrease in blood pressure in all respondents. Respondent 1 moderate to mild hypertension with blood pressure 143/81 mmHg. Respondents 2 mild to moderate hypertension with blood pressure 164/83 mmHg. Respondents 3 moderate to mild hypertension with blood pressure 149/88 mmHg.Conclusion: The results of the analysis conducted from all respondents obtained data that after soaking a foot of warm water, all respondents experienced a decrease in blood pressure and a change that is sore on the neck and dizziness reduced. Thus the problem was partly resolved and the intervention continued.
