GAMBARAN SPIROMETRI PADA IBU-IBU PENDERITA BATUK DI KECAMATAN DARUSSALAM KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Abstrak. Batuk merupakan suatu gejala penyakit yang banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat. Dapat menyebabkan perubahan pada sistem respirasi seperti penurunan ventilasi akibat tertimbun dahak, sehingga terganggu udara masuk dan keluar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran spirometri pada ibu-ibu penderita batuk di Kecamatan Darussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskripsi lapangan. Ibu-ibu yang sudah menderita batuk lebih dari tiga hari di ukur kekuatan mengeluarkan napas ekspirasi paksa atau Forced Expiratory Volume In One Second (FEV1), dalam menentukan jumlah sampel secara quota sampling sebanyak 40 orang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa penderita batuk mengalami obstruksi ringan 30 orang (75%), sedang 8 orang (20%), berat 2 orang (5%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penderita batuk menggambarkan kurang mampu menghembus nafas dengan kuat (ekspirasi paksa) melalui spirometer.Abstrak. Cough is a symptom that is much complained by people. It can cause the change on respiratory system, such as narrowing vent due to be covered with sputum, thus it can hamper air in and out. The purpose of this research was to know the description of spiometry on women who had cough at Darussalam sub-district of Aceh Besar regency. This research was done by applying field description method. The women who had cough more than three days were measured the strength of forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1). The sampling method used was quota sampling on 40 respondents. The result of this research showed that the women who had mild obstruction was 30 respondents (75%), middle obstruction was 8 respondents (20%), severe cough was 2 respondents (5%). It can be concluded that the sufferers had the problem to blow breath strongly (Forced expiratory) through spirometry.
