<![CDATA[Abstrak. Integrasi pelayanan psikologi di pusat pelayanan kesehatan negara Barat telah dimulai sejak pertengahan tahun 1970. Integrasi ini terjadi karena beberapa alasan, salah satunya adalah peningkatan biaya penanganan kesehatan, yang telah mengarahkan untuk mencari alternatif-alternatif bagi the traditional health care system. Melihat pentingnya integrasi kesehatan antara kesehatan fisik dan kesehatan mental, untuk pelayanan kesehatan yang optimal bagi rakyat Aceh maka pada september 2013 Direktur RSUDZA (Dr. Syahrul, SpS (K)) membuka pelayanan psikologi pada klinik Gabungan Tujuan penelitian untuk menggambarkan dinamika pelayanan psikologi di RSUDZA guna menemukan berbagai tantangan dan hambatan demi peningkatan pelayanan yang optimal. Metode tulisan ini adalah laporan tertulis peneliti selama melakukan pelayanan di RSUDZA. Hasil analisa pelaksanaan kegiatan pelayanan psikologi menunjukkan bahwa belum termaksimalkannya pelayanan psikologi oleh pelayanan kesehatan fisik lainnya, seperti rendahnya angka rujukan bagi pasien penyakit kronis dan terminal kepada psikolog dari dokter spesialis lainnya. Permasalahan utama pelayanan psikologi yaitu belum adanya clinical pathway atau prosedur pelayanan psikologi di rumah sakit dalam sistem kesehatan nasional. Namun, psikolog rumah sakit harus tetap berusaha lebih maksimal dalam mempromosikan peran psikolog dan ilmu psikologi di pelayanan kesehatan kepada praktisi kesehatan lainnya, termasuk kepada pengambil kebijakan. The integration of psychological services in health care system within western countries has been developed since 1970. It happened because of several circumtances, for instance an inclined cost of health. Thus, it drove alternatives to revise the traditional health care system. The importance of integrated health between physical and mental in order to optimalize health services within Aceh community, therefore the Director of Aceh Provincial Hospital (Dr.dr. Syahrul, SpS (K)) has been initiated psychological services on September 2013 along with some others physical health services in one clinic. The purpose of this paper is to give an overview of dynamics in the psychological services to figure out various challenges and obstacles. This paper is adopted from author’s real experiences in the field for 2 (two) years of practice in the hospital (RSUDZA). The results indicate that psychological services are underused and not fully optimalized in terms of collaboration among other physical services, such as minimum number of chronic and terminal patient referral to psychologist from other health professionals. In addition, psychology clinical pathway has not developed yet in Indonesian Health Care System that makes it the major problem for practioners. However, psychologists need to be more encouraging to advocate other professionals (including policy makers) in terms of promoting psychology field functions in health system.
