Abstract

AbstrakCOVID-19 adalah suatu penyakit menular yang diakibatkan oleh infeksi virus corona. Wabah COVID-19 telah dinyatakan sebagai wabah pandemi internasional oleh WHO. Tujuan dari review artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh penyakit kronis dalam faktor resiko terjangkit COVID-19 serta peran apoteker dalam pencegahan dan penangan penyakit covid. Metode yang digunakan dalam membuat artikel ini yaitu penelusuran pustaka jurnal penelitian, review artikel dan artikel ilmiah. Pasien penyakit kronis merupakan kelompok yang rentan terinfeksi COVID-19. Diabetes melitus, hipertensi, dan penyakit jantung termasuk ke dalam resiko tinggi karena kerusakan organ akibat penyakit tersebut dan imunitas yang menurun. Penggunaan terapi COVID-19 pada pasien diabetes mellitus, hipertensi dan penyakit jantung harus  dengan pengawasan khusus secara rutin seperti pemeriksaan kadar gula darah, tekanan darah dan pemantauan gejala-gejala yang timbul Peran apoteker dalam pandemi COVID-19 pada pasien penyakit kronis diantaranya pemberian informasi yang lengkap mengenai COVID-19, menyediakan jasa pengiriman obat yang dibutuhkan, mengoptimalkan penggunaan obat rasional, dan meningkatkan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien.Kata kunci: Peran Apoteker, Penyakit Kronis, COVID-19 Abstract COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by coronavirus infection. The COVID-19 outbreak has been declared an international pandemic by WHO. The purpose of this review is to explain the influence of chronic diseases in the risk factors for  covid and the role of pharmacists in the prevention and treatment of covid diseases. The method used in making this article are research from journal research, article review and scientific articles. Chronic disease patients are a vulnerable group infected with COVID-19. Diabetes mellitus, hypertension and heart disease are included in high-risk comorbidities because of organ damage due to the disease and decreased immunity. The use of COVID-19 therapeutic drugs in patients with diabetes mellitus, hypertension and heart disease should be monitored routinely such as checking blood sugar levels, blood pressure and monitoring for symptoms that arise. The role of pharmacists in a covid 19 pandemic for chronic disease patients includes providing complete information about COVID-19, providing drug delivery services, supporting rational use of drusg, and increasing medication compliance.Keywords: Role of Pharmacist, Chronic Disease, COVID-19
