Abstract

Abstrak Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah dinas pertanian belum memiliki sistem alat ukur tingkat kelembaban tanah berbasis IoT. Sehingga staf dinas pertanian mengalami kesulitan dalam pengukuran tingkat kelembaban tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan cara melakukan pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data pada penelitian ini data primer yaitu berupa kata-kata, ataupun perilaku yang diamati melalui observasi, wawancara serta data sekunder yaitu literatur. Perancangan dari alat ukur tingkat kelembaban tanah menggunakan sensor kelembaban tanah berbasis arduino dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu hasil perancangan perangkat lunak, dan hasil perancangan perangkat keras. Hasil perancangan perangkat lunak meliputi instalasi dan coding. Kata kunci : kelembaban tanah, Arduino, mikrokontroler Abstract The problem in this research is that the agriculture agency does not yet have an IoT-based soil moisture measurement system. So that the agricultural department staff have difficulty in measuring soil moisture levels. This research uses data collection methods by using a qualitative approach. The data in this study are primary data, namely in the form of words, or observed behavior through observation, interviews and secondary data, namely literature. The design of a soil moisture measuring device using an Arduino-based soil moisture sensor is divided into two parts, namely the results of software design and the results of hardware design.
