<![CDATA[Wabah virus Corona (Covid-19) cukup mendapat ekspose media yang luar biasa ini membuat Pemerintah pusat membuat sebuat keputusan dalam “Keputusan Presiden (Keppres) Republik Indonesia Nomor 12 Tahun 2020 tentang Penetapan Bencana Non-Alam Penyebaran CORONA VIRUS DISEASE 2019 Sebagai Bencana Nasional. Untuk upaya pencegahan penyebaran dan penanganan Covid-19 pada Provinsi Maluku, pihak Pemerintah Daerah telah menyiapkan Gugus Tugas Pencegahan dan Penanganan yang di fokuskan pada beberapa hal antara lain melakukan kegiatan edukasi kepada masyarakat agar dapat mencegah penyebaran virus yang mematikan ini. Provinsi Maluku juga harus siap dalam menghadapi dan memasuki fase New Normal. Namun, penerapan new normal ini belum sepenuhnya dapat dipahami. Permasalahan yang di timbul sehingga melonjaknya jumlah masyarakat yang terpapar atau terinveksi Covid – 19 adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mematuhi protocol kesehatan yang dianjurkan pemerintah. Sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan pada Kecamatan Teluk Ambon dengan target para pimpinan-pimpinan desa atau kelurahan serta pimpinan beberapa instansi dan sekolah yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Teluk Ambon, guna nanti akan diteruskan kepada masyarakat di wilayah kerja masing-masing. For efforts to prevent the spread and treatment of Covid-19 in Maluku Province, the Local Government has set up a Prevention and Handling Task Force focused on several things such as conducting educational activities to avoid the spread of this cutthroat virus. Maluku province must also be ready to face and enter the New Normal phase. However, the application of this new normal is not yet fully realized. The problem that arises with the result that the soaring number of people exposed or infected by Covid-19 is the lack of public awareness in complying with the health protocols recommended by the government. This socialization was implemented in Teluk Ambon sub-district with the target of village or village leaders as well as the leaders of several agencies and schools located in the Teluk Ambon sub-district, which will be forwarded to the community in their respective working areas.
