<![CDATA[Abstrak Pada 21 Juli 2017, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat mengesahkan Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum. Hasil dari pengesahan rapat paripurna DPR , yang utamanya menentukan ambang batas pemilihan Presiden, sebesar 20% dari kursi DPR, atau 25% suara sah nasional, artinya partai politik dapat mencalonkan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden jika menduduki setidaknya 20% kursi DPR. Sistem seperti ini bertujuan salah satunya untuk melakukan penyederhanan partai politik di Indonesia. Konsep penyederhanaan partai politik pada pemilihan umum 2019 menarik untuk dijadikan bahan penelitian. Penelitian ini, membahas secara sistematis tentang mekanisme penyederhanaan partai politik dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum dan implikasi Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum terhadap penataan sistem presidensil Indonesia. Kata kunci: ambang batas pemilihan presiden, ambang batas parlemen, penyerdehanaan partai politik , pemilu serentak, DPR Abstract On July 21, 2017, the House of Representatives ratified Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. the result of ratification of the House of Representative plenary meeting, which mainly determines the presidential threshold, by 20% of the House of Representative seats, or 25% nationally legitimate votes, meaning that political parties can nominate the President and Vice President if they occupy at least 20% of seats in the House of Representative. One of aims of this system to simplify political parties in Indonesia. The concept of simplifying political parties in the 2019 general election is interesting to be used as research material. this research, systematically discusses the mechanism of simplification of political parties in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections and the implications of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections on the arrangement the Indonesian presidential system.
