Abstract

Thisstudyaims toanalyzetheeffectoftotalqualitymanagementoncost efficiencyatEMPMalaccaStrait,the influenceofjustintimeonoperational performance atEMPMalacca Straitandtotalqualitymanagementandjustin simultaneously onoperationalperformanceat EMPMalaccaStrait. Thenumber ofsamplesinthisstudy were78respondents.Theanalysistechniqueusessimple regression analysis and multipleregression. The resultsshowedthattotalquality managementandjustintime simultaneously hadasignificanteffectonoperationalperformancebecause total qualitymanagementwasmaintainedin termsofteamwork.Accordingtothe employeesdoingwork withfullresponsibility andsupportedbythestandardof time usedtosupportcontrolofproductioncosts.Totalquality managementhasa positiveeffectonoperationalperformance.Thisshowsthattotal quality management  that  are  maintained  in  terms  of  teamwork  according  to  the employeesdoingworkwith fullresponsibilitycanimproveoperational performance.Justintime hasapositive effectonoperationalperformance. This showsthatthestandard oftimeusedtosupportcontrolofproductioncostscan significantly improveoperational performance.
