Facing the menopausal actually causes perceptions premenopausal women. This studyaims to determine the effect of health education on knowledge and anxiety. The researchdesign using pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest, the sample size of 100premenopausal women, was taken using the method of multistage sample. Knowledgeand anxiety were measured using a questionnaire. Analysis using the Wilcoxon test andthe pair sample t-test with a significance level 0,05. This study shows the significantimpact of health education to anxiety after intervention. Women who have never beenpregnant decrease in anxiety was higher than have ever pregnant. Is recommended tohealth workers in primary health centers implementing menopausal counseling to reduceanxiety facing the menopausal.
