<![CDATA[This research was conducted to study the error of using prepositions in class XI A 6 N SMK Padang. This study uses a qualitative method. The data source is 30 short stories students of class XI A. The data of this study consisted of prepositions in class XI students. Data collection was done by document, read, and note. The results of this study indicate that there were nine prepositional errors. There are repetitions of errors in the same word. From these errors can be drawn conclusions about students who are still confused using prepositions in accordance with the correct language rules. The use of prepositions can be found in other studios. Related materials in all subjects are related to each other. Keywords: errors, prepositions di and to, short stories.]]>
