AbstractBreast milk is the best life fluid that is needed by babies (Maritalia, 2017). Breast milk is thebest natural nutrition for babies because it contains the energy and substance needs neededfor the first six months of a baby's life (Saleha, 2009). Breast milk contains a lot of substancesthat are important for growth and development and according to the baby's needs (Sukriana,Yulia Irvani Dewi, Sri Utami, 2018). leaves wake up awake has been using and developingthe leaves of the wake-awak. According to the Batak people who consume the leaves of thewakes, it is efficacious in maintaining and improving the health of the body and increasingthe production of breast milk when breastfeeding their children. The leaves of the wakes alsohave various properties such as overcoming fever, influenza, cough, constipation,inflammation, bloating, mouth sores, headaches, allergies, diarrhea and increasing milk(Nelzi Fati, 2018). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desainpenelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experiment dan rancangan penelitian PretestPosttest One Group Desain. hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata sebelumdiberikan daun bangun-bangun adalah 731,00 sedangkan setelah diberikan daun bangunbangunadalah 824,00. The statistical test results obtained a significant value with p value(0.002) <a (0.05) so that Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect ofgiving leaves of shapes on the increase of breast milk production in the Polyclinic ofEmplasmen Bukit Lima, Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency in 2018.Keywords: leaves wake up awake, Breast Milk Production
