<![CDATA[The cause of maternal death in health care services is generally due to bleeding. One of the causes of bleeding is anemia, anemia is one of the causes of the highest maternal mortality rate. At the Kampar Puskesmas in 2019 there were 965 cases of anemia (48.72%). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving Ajwa date juice (dactylifera phoenix) on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in PMB Nurhayati, the working area of Puskesmas Kampar in 2020. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pretest design. posttest. The population of all pregnant women who visited PMB Nurhayati from January to March 2020 experienced anemia with a hemoglobin level of 8 - 10.9 gr%. A sample of 10 respondents who have anemia.
