<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of production factors on production, the achievement of technical efficiency levels, and the influence of age, education, and counseling on the inefficiencies of onion farming in Demak Regency. The samples were 99 people. The samples were taken in three districts which were Mijen, Karanganyar, and Gajah. The method of data analysis used is the stochastic frontier function. The results shows land, seeds, labor, and pesticides have a positive and significant influence on the production of shallots in Demak Regency. While fertilizer has a negative influence but is not significant. That most shallot farming in Demak Regency (81.81%) is technically efficient. The average of technical efficiency is 0.84. There are negative and significant influences between age and education with the level of inefficiency, while the counseling has a negative effect but it is not significant with the level of inefficiency. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi terhadap produksi, capaian tingkat efisiensi teknis, dan pengaruh umur, pendidikan, dan penyuluhan terhadap inefisiensi usahatani bawang merah di Kabupaten Demak. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 99 orang. Sampel diambil di tiga kecamatan yaitu Mijen, Karanganyar, dan Gajah. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah fungsi stochastik frontier. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Lahan, bibit, tenaga kerja, dan pestisida memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani bawang merah di Kabupaten Demak. Sementara pupuk memiliki pengaruh negatif akan tetapi tidak signifikan. Umumnya (81,81%) usahatani bawang merah di Kabupaten Demak sudah efisien secara teknis. Nilai rata-rata efisiensi teknis adalah 0.84. Umur dan pendidikan memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap inefisiensi usahatani bawang merah di Kabupaten Demak. Sementara penyuluhan memiliki pengaruh negatif akan tetapi tidak signifikan dengan tingkat inefisiensi.]]>
