<![CDATA[First 1.000 days of human’s life is a golden period which will determines the quality of human’s health in the next lifetime period. However, in first 1.000 days of human’s life, there are various health problems that can disrupt the condition of infants under five, one of which is Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI). ARI is a respiratory disease caused by an infectious agent transmitted from human to human. ARI is a major public health problem and a major cause of morbidity and mortality for infants and toddlers. The bad habit of people burning rubbish in the home environment is one of the factors that causes ARI in toddlers, however, what underlies the bad behavior of the community is the lack of intervention from the community health workers on duty. Community service efforts are carried out to reduce the number of ARI cases to prevent the occurrence of ARI, develop the skills of community health workers so that they can convey maximum information to target targets and increase the knowledge of mothers under five so that they slightly change their lifestyle to be healthier. It is hoped that this service activity will have a positive impact and enthusiasm for the community so that it can be useful for daily life and improve health status in Sumengko.]]>
