Prevalensi, Jenis dan Dampak Perilaku Bullying pada Perawat: A Systematic Review

Abstract

Introduction: The emergency nurses association in the United reported that the incidence of bullying behavior among nurses in the workplace was 3.8 times higher. Purpose: To identify the prevalence, types and impact of bullying behavior on nurses. Methods: This writing guide used PRISMA. The databases we used in the search for articles were: PubMed, Proquest, Scopus, EBSCO host, and Google Scholar for the last 5 years which were published in English. Assess the quality of our articles using a critical appraisal and a level of evidence. Results: Overall of the 8 articles used a cross-sectional design. The highest prevalence of bullying was 91% and the lowest was 40.1%. Types of bullying behavior in nurses consist of bullying related to people, work, physical, verbal and psychological. The impact of bullying behavior can cause effects of psychological stress, physical health, mental health, intention to leave work, intention to resign from work and decreased job satisfaction. Conclusion: Based on the study that identified that the prevalence of bullying behavior among nurses in the workplace is quite high which has varying values in each country, there are different types of bullying behavior in the workplace related to people, work, physical, verbal and psychological, then the impact of bullying behavior can be cause effects on hospitals, nurses and patients. Keywords: prevalence; type; impact; bullying; nurse ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: The emergency nurses association in the united melaporkan bahwa kejadian perilaku bullying pada perawat ditempat kerja 3.8 kali lebih tinggi. Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi prevalensi, jenis dan dampak perilaku bullying pada perawat. Metode: Pedoman penulisan ini menggunakan PRISMA. Database yang kami gunakan dalam pencarian artikel yaitu: PubMed, Proquest, Scopus, EBSCO host dan Google Scholar dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir yang dipublikasikan dalam bahasa Inggris. Menilai kualitas artikel kami menggunakan critical appraisal dan level evidence. Hasil: Secara keseluruhan dari 8 artikel ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Prevalensi bullying yang tertinggi 91% dan yang terendah 40,1%. Jenis perilaku bullying pada perawat terdiri dari bullying berkaitan dengan orang, pekerjaan, fisik, verbal dan psikologis. Dampak perilaku bullying dapat menyebabkan efek tekanan psikologis, kesehatan fisik, kesehatan mental, niat meninggalkan pekerjaan, niat untuk mengundurkan diri dari pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja yang menurun. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan studi yang diidentifikasi bahwa prevalensi perilaku bullying pada perawat ditempat kerja cukup tinggi yang memiliki nilai yang bervariasi disetiap negara, adapun jenis perilaku bullying ditempat kerja berbeda-beda yang berhubungan dengan orang, pekerjaan, fisik, verbal dan psikologis kemudian dampak perilaku bullying dapat menyebabkan efek pada rumah sakit, perawat dan pasien.
