Iskandar Zulkarnain, Setiawan Noerdajasakti, Mufatikhatul Farikhah Fakultas Hukum, Universitas Brawijaya e-mail: [e-mail]  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi penyidik tentang Prostitusi Online pada Media Sosial di Kota Malang, permasalahan yang diteliti oleh penulis adalah persepsi Penyidik Polresta Malang Kota terkait fenomena prostitusi online pada media sosial yang terdapat di Kota Malang serta faktor yang menjadi kendala penyidik dalam menegakkan Pasal 27 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik terhadap wanita tuna susila yang menawarkan jasa mereka melalui media sosial online seperti twitter & michat. Teknik memperoleh data primer dalam penellitian ini melalui wawancara atau interview kepada penyidik Satreskrim Polresta Malang Kota. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah deskriptif kualitatif yakni metode yang dilakukan dengan mendeskripsikan dengan jelas dan sistematis dari data yang diperoleh, runtut, logis dan efektif. Pada hasil penelitian ini penulis mendapatkan persepsi serta sudut pandang penyidik serta menemukan beberapa kendala terkait penerapan Pasal 27 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi ElektronikKata Kunci: Persepsi, Penyidik, Prostitusi Online, Polresta Malang Kota ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the perceptions of investigators about online prostitution on social media in Malang City, the problem examined by the author is the perception of Malang City Police Investigators regarding the phenomenon of online prostitution on social media in Malang City and the factors that become obstacles for investigators in enforcing Article 27. Paragraph (1) Law Number 19 Year 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions against prostitutes who offer their services through online social media such as Twitter & Michat. The technique of obtaining primary data in this research is through interviews or interviews with investigators of Satreskrim Polresta Malang City. The data analysis technique used by the writer is descriptive qualitative, namely the method used by describing clearly and systematically from the data obtained, coherently, logically and effectively. In the results of this study the authors get the perceptions and viewpoints of investigators and find several obstacles related to the application of Article 27 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 19 Year 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions.
