<![CDATA[Abstract This article intends to briefly describe how the philosophy of science relates to scientific research and social life. This paper proposes a proposition that the philosophy of science is a holistic foundation in scientific research in general, and there is a close relationship between the philosophy of science and scientific research and the social life of society. Philosophy of science and research methodologies are filling and broadening cognitive horizons about what is called science, which is expected to create understanding to be disciplined in scientific work, as well as increase motivation as scientists to carry out tasks seriously, from this philosophy of science it is also expected to make social contributions for the life of society at large.
