<![CDATA[Abstrak - Pink eye merupakan penyakit mata akut yang menular pada sapi, domba maupun kambing, biasanya bersifat epizootik dan ditandai dengan memerahnya conjunctiva dan kekeruhan mata. Penyakit ini tidak sampai menimbulkan kematian, akan tetapi dapat menyebabkan kerugian yang cukup besar bagi peternak, karena akan menyebabkan kebutaan, penurunan berat badan dan biaya pengobatan yang mahal. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah Sistem pakar yang berusaha mengadopsi pengetahuan para pakar dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan penyakit pink eye berbasis sistem komputer. Metode certainty factor digunakan dalam metode perhitungannya. Metode ini merupakan perhitungan tingkat kepastian terhadap kesimpulan yang diperoleh dan dihitung berdasarkan nilai probabilitas penyakit karena adanya evident gejala. Tujuan dikembangkannya sistem pakar ini adalah untuk identifikasi dini penyakit Pink Eye. In this study, an expert system was developed that tried to adopt the knowledge of experts in solving the problem of pink eye disease based on a computer system.
