The researcher's interest in the poem "Debu" by Emha Ainun Nadjib prompted the researchers to conduct research. This poem uses a beautiful word arrangement and contains meanings contained in it, especially for muslims. The poem contains an invitation to pray after praying and prostrating to an infinite number of rakaatnya that will make the face incarnate like light. The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the imagination in the poem "Debu" by Emha Ainun Nadjib. Imagery is an imagined image in the mind. The image is divided into three parts, namely sound image (auditive), vision image (visual), and raba/touch/rasa (tactile) image. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this study, namely poetry written by a culturalist, scholar, social worker, columnist, seminarian, and as a cleric (kiai). In this poem there are 3 craftsmanship, namely tactile, visual, and auditive images. Tactile image of 7 words with the characteristics of the image can be felt by the sense of taste. Visual image of 4 words with the characteristics of the image can be felt by the sense of vision and auditive image of 2 words with the characteristics of the image can be felt by the sense of hearing. Tactile image is more influential in this poem because it makes the reader become imaginative and feel using the heart when reading the poem.
