Pendidikan Kesehatan dan Terapi Tablet Zat Besi (Fe)Terhadap Hemoglobin Remaja Putri

Abstract

Kekurangan zat besi di usia remaja dapat menyebabkan remaja putri rentan terkena infeksi dan gangguan fungsi otak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dan terapi tablet zat besi (Fe) terhadap hemoglobin (Hb) remaja putri yang mendapat vitamin C di SMA Negeri Magepanda Kabupaten Sikka. Desain penelitian quasi experiment pre-post test with control group. Jumlah responden sebanyak 51 dibagi dalam 3 kelompok, masing-masing berjumlah 17 responden (kelompok vitamin C, kelompok pendidikan kesehatan dan vitamin C serta kelompok tablet Fe dan vitamin C). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2019. Pengumpulan data Hb menggunakan Cell-Dyn Emerald. Analisis data: uji paired t test dan Anova. Peningkatan Hb lebih tinggi pada kelompok yang mendapat terapi tablet Fe dan vitamin C (p 0.000 & selisih 3.64). Ada perbedaan rata-rata Hb pada ketiga kelompok setelah intervensi (p 0.008). Terapi tablet zat besi (Fe) dan vitamin C lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan Hb.Terapi tablet zat besi (Fe) dan vitamin C harus diberikan secara rutin sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan Hb. Iron deficiency in adolescence can cause female teenagers to be prone to infections and impaired brain function. This study aims to explain the influence of health education and iron tablet therapy (fe) towards hemoglobin female teenagers getting vitamin C at Magepanda State Senior High School in Sikka Regency. Research design quasi experiment pre-post test with control group. Hb increase was higher in the group that got Fe therapy and vitamin C (p 0.000 & difference 3.64). There was a difference in average Hb in the three groups after intervention (p 0.008). Fe tablets and vitamin C are more effective in improving Hb. Fe tablets and vitamin C should be administered regularly in an effort to improve Hb.
