Abstrak: Kasus Covid-19 terus naik di Kota Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap protokol yang harus diterapkan apabila terkena Covid-19, khususnya saat isolasi mandiri. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakannya edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai gejala-gejala Covid-19 dan protokol isolasi mandiri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat akan gejala-gejala Covid-19 dan protokol isolasi mandiri guna menurunkan kasus Covid-19 di Samarinda. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting; dan diikuti oleh 27 peserta yang terdiri dari siswa/i dan mahasiswa/i dari Kelurahan Sempaja Barat dan Kota Samarinda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan sebesar 7,16 tentang gejala-gejala Covid-19 dan protokol isolasi mandiri. Terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan sesudah edukasi dengan nilai probabilitas kumulatif sebesar 0,0124. Dari hasil tersebut, kegiatan tersebut memberikan dampak yang positif kepada masyarakat.Abstract: Covid-19 cases continue to rise in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. One of the causes is the lack of public knowledge and understanding of the protocols that must be applied if exposed to Covid-19, especially during self-isolation. Therefore, it is necessary to educate the public about the symptoms of Covid-19 and the protocol for self-isolation. This activity aims to increase public knowledge and understanding of the symptoms of Covid-19 and the self-isolation protocol to reduce Covid-19 cases in Samarinda. The activity was carried out online through a Zoom Meeting; and was attended by 27 participants consisting of students and students from Sempaja Barat Village and Samarinda City. The method used is the lecture and question and answer method. The results showed that there was a mean increase in participants' knowledge of the symptoms of Covid-19 and the self-isolation protocol by 7.16. There is a difference in the level of knowledge of participants before and after education with a cumulative probability value of 0.0124. From these results, these activities have a positive impact on the community.
