PENINGKATAN SOFTSKILL SISWA MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI IoT BERBASIS ARDUINO BAGI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 KOTA TEGAL

Abstrak: Teknologi IoT ini sangat revelan di berbagai bidang dan salah satunya pada bidang pendidikan. Dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusannya, untuk peningkatan Softkill Siswa-Siswi SMK Muhamadiyah 1 Tegal yang dapat digunakan sebagai bekal siswa-siswi untuk terjun ke dunia kerja. Pengetahuan siswa akan teknologi IoT sangat minim sehingga siswa-siswi merasa perlu pemberian workshop. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa-siswi dalam penguasaan teknologi IoT ini dilakukan dengan workshop selama 2 hari. Dengan metode presentasi dan diskusi serta praktik dan pendampingan terhadap peserta kegiatan, pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan peserta kegiatan mempunyai ilmu yang baru dan dapat mengetahui mengenai perkembangan teknologi khususnya penggunaan teknologi IoT. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa-siswi SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Tegal sebanyak 60 siswa-siswi. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian hasilnya siswa siswi lebih baik, dimana hasil kuisioner yang didapat 98% siswa-siswi paham dalam mengikuti penguasaan teknologi IoT berbasis Arduino.Abstract:  IoT technology is very relevant in various fields and one of them is in the field of education. In improving the competence of graduates, to increase the Softkill of SMK Muhamadiyah 1 Tegal students which can be used as a provision for students to enter the world of work. Students' knowledge of IoT technology is very minimal so students feel the need to provide workshops. To increase students' knowledge in mastering IoT technology, this is done with a 2-day workshop. With presentation and discussion methods as well as practice and assistance to activity participants, the training is carried out with the aim of activity participants having new knowledge and being able to find out about technological developments, especially the use of IoT technology. The implementation of this activity was attended by 60 students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Tegal City. After participating in the service activities, the results of the students were better, where the results of the questionnaire obtained were 98% of the students understood the mastery of Arduino-based IoT technology.
