Pain is an uncomfortable sensory and emotional feeling, associated with (threatening) tissue damage. Analgesics are substances that reduce or dispel pain without eliminating consciousness (the difference with general anesthesia). Animals that are commonly used as experimental animals are menci (Mus musculus) and white mice (Rattus novergicus). The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the onset of each boni gel concentration tested. The research carried out in the form of experimental by using the hot plate method. The results showed that there was no onset of boni gel with a concentration of 0.25% because the curve was still interesting. The onset obtained in boni gel with a concentration of 0.5% is occurred at the 90th minute where the area under the curve is 4248 which shows the percent of activity owned. The onset obtained in boni gel with a concentration of 0.75% is occurred at the 90th minute where the area under the curve is 5112 which shows the percent of activity owned. The greater the concentration given, the greater the arising analgesic effect. Of the three concentrations, the most effective analgesic effect was 0.75%, where analgesic activity occurred at 90 minutes by 135.902% with an SD value of 154.156 and RSD value of 113.4317%.
