<![CDATA[Instagram account @jakpostimages is an online-based news media that provides information about news in Indonesia and in delivering the news in English. The purpose of this research is to find out how effective the @jakpostimages Instagram account is in meeting the information needs of its followers. In this study, the research population was the followers of the @jakpostimages Instagram account. The sample used is as many as 100 people who were taken by non probability sampling technique. Researchers conducted a survey by distributing a questionnaire link to the followers of the @jakpostimages Instagram account through the direct messages feature. This research concludes that the @jakpostimages Instagram account has a high level of effectiveness in providing information to followers based on various factors such as the accuracy and clarity of news, the news language used is easy to understand, and provides satisfaction to followers regarding information that suits their needs.Keywords: Effectiveness, Instagram, Information NeedsAkun Instagram @jakpostimages adalah media pemberitaan berbasis online yang memberikan informasi mengenai pemberitaan di Indonesia dan dalam penyampaian beritanya menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas akun Instagram @jakpostimages dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi para followers-nya. Dalam penelitian ini, populasi peneliti adalah followers akun Instagram @jakpostimages. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 100 orang yang diambil dengan teknik non probability sampling. Peneliti melakukan survei dengan menyebarkan link kuesioner kepada para followers akun Instagram @jakpostimages melalui fitur direct messages. Penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa akun Instagram @jakpostimages memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi dalam memberikan informasi kepada followers yang didasari oleh berbagai faktor seperti akurat dan jelasnya sebuah berita, bahasa berita yang digunakan mudah dipahami, serta memberikan kepuasan kepada para followers terkait informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan nya.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Instagram, Kebutuhan Informasi ]]>
