<![CDATA[Patient demands that require the expansion of the old product-oriented paradigm into a new patient-oriented paradigm with a pharmaceutical care philosophy make the role of pharmacists indispensable. The purpose of this study was to measure the patient's perception (awareness, hope, trust) of the role of pharmacists in pharmaceutical services in public health centers in the West Semarang area. The design of this study was cross-sectional. The research subjects were 120 patients who were selected by consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected through filling out a questionnaire which was then scored and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that patients had high awareness, hope, and confidence in the role of pharmacists in health centers in West Semarang Region. The p-value for the results of the correlation test between awareness and expectation was 0.002, with r = 0.277 (weak correlation). The p-value for the correlation between awareness and belief was 0.038, with r = 0.190 (very weak correlation), the p-value for the correlation between expectation and belief was 0.000, with r = 0.696 (strong correlation). This shows that there is an effect of abdominal stretching exercise on the reduction of dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls in Maloku Village.Keywords: perception; pharmacist; pharmaceutical serviceABSTRAK Tuntutan pasien yang mengharuskan perluasan paradigma lama yang berorientasi kepada produk menjadi paradigma baru yang berorientasi pada pasien dengan filosofi pharmaceutical care membuat peran apoteker sangat dibutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengukur persepsi (kesadaran, harapan, kepercayaan) pasien terhadap peran apoteker pada layanan kefarmasian di beberapa pusat kesehatan masyarakat (puskesmas) di wilayah Semarang Barat. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah 120 pasien yang dipilih dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner yang selanjutnya dilakukan skoring dan analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasien memiliki kesadaran, harapan, dan kepercayaan yang tinggi terhadap peran apoteker di puskesmas-puskesmas di Wilayah Semarang Barat. Nilai p untuk hasil uji korelasi antara kesadaran dan harapan adalah 0,002, dengan r = 0,277 (korelasi lemah). Nilai p untuk korelasi antara kesadaran dan kepercayaan adalah 0,038, dengan r = 0,190 (korelasi sangat lemah), Nilai p untuk korelasi antara harapan dan kepercayaan adalah 0,000, dengan r = 0,696 (korelasi kuat).
