Abstrack: This article is lifted from the problem determining the beginning of the Qamariyah month, which always occurs every year. This problem continues to arise because it relates to Muslim worship activities. The determination of the beginning of the month of Qamariyah is closely associated with religious organizations in Indonesia, one example of which is the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute (LDII). The new moon concept used by LDII is the same as the new moon concept used by the Government. That means that the idea used by LDII is the IMkan Rukyat MABIMS Criteria. The Hilal concept used by the Government is 2-3-8 (the height of the Hilal is at least 2 degrees, the angle of elongation of the moon is 3 degrees, and the age of the moon is at least 8 hours after ijtima. The method of determining the beginning of the month of Qomariyah carried out by LDII uses the Hisab method and the Rukyat method. That is by what is described in the MUI Fatwa No. 2 of 2004 concerning Determining the beginning of the month. The fatwa explained that the Government established two methods to determine the month's start: Rukyat or Hisab. If no results are obtained in the implementation of Rukyat due to bad weather, then the month is fulfilled to be 30 days or standardized. Keywords: LDII, Hisab, Rukyat   Abstrak: Jurnal ini diangkat dari problematika penentuan awal bulan Qamariyah yang selalu terjadi setiap tahunnya. Problematika ini terus muncul karena ia berhubungan dengan kegiatan ibadah umat Islam. Problematika penentuan awal bulan Qamariyah tak luput dari pengaruh organisasi keagamaan yang ada di Indonesia, salah satu contohnya yakni Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII). Konsep hilal yang digunakan oleh LDII sama dengan konsep hilal yang dipakai Pemerintah. Artinya, konsep yang digunakan LDII adalah Kriteria Imkan Rukyat MABIMS. Konsep Hilal yang digunakan Pemerintah ialah 2-3-8 (ketinggian Hilal minimal 2 derajat, sudut elongasi bulan 3 derajat, dan umur bulan minimal 8 jam setelah ijtimak). Metode penentuan awal bulan Qomariyah yang dilakukan oleh LDII menggunakan metode Hisab dan metode Rukyat. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan yang dijelaskan dalam Fatwa MUI No. 2 Tahun 2004 tentang Penentuan awal bulan. Fatwa tersebut menjelaskan bahwa Pemerintah menetapkan dua metode dalam penentuan awal bulan, yaitu Rukyat atau Hisab. Apabila dalam pelaksanaan Rukyat tidak didapatkan hasil karena cuaca buruk, maka bulan tersebut digenapkan menjadi 30 hari atau diistikmalkan. Kata Kunci: LDII, Hisab, Rukyat.
