Kepuasan kerja merupakan perasaan seseorang yang merupakanrepresentatif dari sikap terhadap pekerjaannya, dan sangat berpengaruhterhadap kinerja seorang karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihathubungan kemampuan adaptasi dengan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian inimenggunakan populasi karyawan swasta, BUMN, dan PNS (kecuali tenagapengajar dan medis), dan mengambil 62 subjek dengan teknik simplerandom sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan 2 kuisionerdengan model skala Likert, yaitu MSQ dan kuisioner kemampuan adaptasiyang disusun berdasarkan indikator penelitian Adaptif Performance. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antarakemampuan adaptasi dengan kepuasan kerja. Hal tersebut dilihat dari nilai r= 0,255 dengan p < 0,05.Kata kunci: Kepuasan kerja, kemampuan adaptasi, karyawanJob satisfaction is a representative feeling that shows someone’s attitudetowards their job and accordingly affects their performance greatly. Thisresearch aimed at investigating correlation between adaptability and jobsatisfaction. The subject were 62 people including private employees,BUMN employees, and vivil servants (teachers and medical-relatedemployees excluded) that) that were chosen using purposive samplingtechnique. The data were taken using two questionnaires of Likert Scale,MSQ and adaptability questionnaire which was designed based on researchindicator of Adaptive Performance. The findings revealed a significantpositive correlation between adaptability and job satisfaction.
