<![CDATA[The purpose of this paper is to find out, understand and add to the treasures of thinking about the nature of science and the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an regarding the nature of science in the perspective of Islamic education. The type of writing used by the author is library research, which is to obtain data from libraries such as the Qur'an, scientific books, journals, and other related documents. The writing is designed with an inductive descriptive analysis method to obtain a conclusion of the discussion. Writing in this scientific paper can be divided into two which have a mutual connection, namely: the primary data used as the main object is the interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab and the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir. Meanwhile, secondary data sources used by the author as a treasure trove of thinking that have relevance to science in the discussion of this writing.Thus, in writing this scientific paper, the author limits specifically on the nature of science in the perspective of Islamic education. The awareness of Muslim scientists derived from the Qur'an and Hadith triggered the greatest achievements in science. Another trait taught by the Qur'an and Hadith to Muslims is open-mindedness, which enables them to gain knowledge from their endeavors through hearing, sight and heart. The results of this study found the word of God regarding the nature of science is QS. Al-Alaq (96) 1-5, Al-Mujlah (58):11, QS. Ali-Imran (3): 190 and QS. Al-A'raf (7) : 185, QS.
