<![CDATA[The statement of the proclamation of independence on August 17, 1945 had a tremendous impact on the people of Indonesia, the ideals of independence that had long been dreamed of with all sacrifices had been achieved and became a reality, but the proclamation of independence which was expected as freedom for the Indonesian nation was not the end of the independence struggle Indonesia but the beginning of a long struggle known as the Revolution or the war of independence. Military Aggression I was carried out by the Dutch by launching a product operation. The Dutch carried out Military Aggression, both of which went to Indonesia by betraying the Renville agreement, the second attack of the Dutch Military Aggression received an answer from the Indonesian people with a quick attack issued by General Sudirman to conduct a universal guerrilla war. The fighters who had to migrate because of the demarcation line flocked back into the pockets of their guerrillas by sneaking into the enemy territory to carry out attacks. Likewise with the Lumajang region, Pasirian as a Recomba area has strategic values for both the Netherlands and Indonesia. After the fighters succeeded in occupying the guerrilla enclaves, the Ketunggeng Battalion immediately consolidated by carrying out an attack on the headquarters of the Dutch military center in Pasirian on January 11, 1949, better known as the Pasirian General Attack.]]>
