<![CDATA[Mergosari village of Tarik sub-district of Sidoarjo Regency has the potential to increase the creative economy in catfish hatchery cultivation by empowering the community in increasing food security for protein and increasing the economy. Catfish is one of Indonesia's food security commodities which is divided into the hatchery and enlargement business segments of catfish. The hatchery segment is very important in the agribusiness subsystem of the catfish farming business which determines the availability of catfish supply at the enlargement segment stage. The use of probiotics for hatchery farmers has not been done which results in a risk of decreasing production with a reduced amount of catfish seeds. Probiotics have been shown to have an important role in fish farming (4).
