<![CDATA[The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Balai Prasarana Settlement Riau region, has the task of carrying out government tasks in the field of physical work/infrastructure development in Riau Province which is funded by the State Budget throughout Riau Province. This study discusses the Impact of the Construction of a Waste Water Management Installation (WWTP) in Pekanbaru City. Sustainable development has three pillars, namely environmental sustainability, economics, and social behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine how the impact of the construction of a Wastewater Management Installation (IPAL) in Pekanbaru City. The research method is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach, which is descriptive. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Impact of the Construction of Waste Water Management Installation (WWTP) in Pekanbaru City had not run optimally because it lacked in socializing and providing understanding to the community about this WWTP project.Keywords: Sustainable Development, IPAL, Development Impact]]>
