Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalisir kesulitan-kesulitan siswa pada materi aljabar melalui model pembelajaran inquiri . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode library research yang menjabarkan apa yang menjadi perhatian dari penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk. Berdasarkan literature beberapa kesulitan yang dialami siswa pada materi aljabar disebabkan oleh kurangnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kritis, kurangnya kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sehingga mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran inquiri dapat meminimalisir kesulitan-kesulitan belajar matematika siswa. Model pembelajaran inquiri dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, kemampuan penalaran matematis, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa . Dengan kemandirian belajar siswa dapat menyebabkan siswa lebih aktif sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran matematika berlangsung.This research aims to minimize student difficulties in algebra material through inquiry learning models. The method used in this study is the library research method that describes what is the concern of research. This research aims to. Based on the literature some of the difficulties experienced by students in algebraic material are caused by the lack of students 'mathematical problem solving abilities, lack of critical thinking skills, lack of students' mathematical reasoning abilities so that it affects student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study it was found that the inquiry learning model can minimize students' mathematical learning difficulties. Inquiry learning model can affect the mathematical problem solving ability, the ability of students 'reasoning, students' critical thinking skills so that it can improve student learning outcomes. With the independence of student learning can cause students to be more active before and after mathematics learning takes place
