<![CDATA[This study shows that islamic political theology is something that is very dynamic and is related to understanding, social settings and developments in every era. By using the literature study model and interpretive analysis model, several conclusions can be formulated. First, that politics is one of the important teachings in Islam, but how the political system is run there is no standard provision. Both come from the Koran and the practice of life of the prophet Muhammad SAW. Second, the main mission of the teachings is to uphold the commandments of good and evil, to uphold justice, to prosper physically and mentally. In this context, a strong state is needed, but the form of government and politics is an area of ijtihadi. Third, the implications of this fragmentation of understanding can be seen clearly in the political practice of contemporary Islamic countries which take the form according to the understanding and historical background of each Islamic country. In other words, Islamic political theology is very rich in various practices, from the early Islamic era to modern Islamic countries. Religious understanding, socio-political setting in every Muslim country, as well as various contemporary developments, greatly influence the theological construction of Islamic politics, this also shows the flexibility of Islamic teachings when dialogue with developments in every era.
